There are more stories that I uncovered from the archives of the live and times of a troubled detective. Like that time he had to flee from Erfurt as things got a little out of hand and the conspiracy and betrayals uncovered were too large to handle immediately, after which he ended up in exile on the small Danish island of Ærø for a while, where he would spend late winter and early spring in an old lighthouse. Or when the whole grotesque scenery with the lady and the pet monkey unfolded as he was innocently tailing a witness with Marten, his assistant. And the inevitable unmasking and chase of his arch enemy, the infamous 'Schlitzer von Erfurt'.

This is part II of the story of Kommissar Brenkstrupp and his strange investigations in the underworld of Erfurt (1978-1983), coming in the form of two mini-EPs (The Detective (I) and (II)); and a full-length LP in September 2022.

This is a project close to my heart that I have worked on for several years, and I am thrilled to share it with you.
